Education & Outreach

As a part of our engagement with the Jnana Foundation, the ReefWatch team presented its work at the Rotary Club of Panjim, Goa. Rotarians and Rotary-Annes came to show support not just for the work, but the survival of biodiversity along the Goan Coastline. We are grateful to all who made the event a successful one!

In August, Thus Critique presented us the opportunity to talk about our experience and findings on an online panel along with Terra Conscious, Drishti Marine Services, our star volunteer Rohit Chandavarkar, and the Goa Forest Department.

In November, Darryl D’Souza, Convener of The New Earth Summit – India’s 1st Integrative Summit on Solutions to our Problems in Health, Food, Farming & Environment- invited ReefWatch Goa to speak about the relationship the effects of pollution and stranded marine megafauna in November, along with panellists Divya Sharma (Drishti Marine) and Dr. Kalpana Chaudhary.
